Listening to Stavros and Joe has been clinically proven to reduce or eliminate depression in 4 out of 5 patients

Agree. Theres a few episodes with Brian Simpson. I just started listening to #2006, its great so far

Astute and well stated. btw, I'm gonna steal ..."____has some points, but they drown in _____" Ive thought that so many times! I've even caught myself drowning my own good fuckin points!

I can't listen to Kaku anymore. I'm done trying. He acts like a stereotypical arrogant academic. His tonality sounds like he is talking to a kindergartner, and he is really arrogant. He frequently makes absolute statements about things that he cannot possibly know. Its bad for people to listen to someone like this. If his logic is so broken about "This is the final evolution of computing" (for ex), then how the actual fuck is it a good idea to trust anything he says? This motherfucker needs to go on a heroic dose of psychedelics. His behavior is dangerous and bad for the world.

Yeah just finished binging it. It's really good Hancock is really good about genuinely considering opinions and theories aside from the ones he already has. The evidence is pretty overwhelmingly supportive of the younger drius(sp?) impact theory.

Grat Epi. LOTS of very exciting new info. I am particularly interested in the soon to be open sourced tech that they mention near the end. Let's hope Elon and his team get in on it early! Thats our best best at it being used for good rather than evil.

I didn't get the impression that it was mostly a promo or repetition at all. It's got a lot of major insights that make it worth viewing/listening to, imo. One HUGE one: Grahams repeated assertion that we are in the midst of a major and very positive shift in humanity right now.

Arguing about climate change is a waste of time and energy. There are dozens of reasons why we need to get away from fossil fuels. Even if people disagree on half of them, there are still plenty of other reasons to get away from fossil fuels that we can agree on. This fuckin' addiction to bickering about shit is killing us all.

2

Agree! it's only uncool to the deeply uncool, imho. (Don't worry, they will catch up to us eventually)

If you think the show has gotten too popular, then your only choice is to stop listening, then.

0

YES!!!!!

1

I had no idea Usman is such a genuine and wise dude.

0

CANT WAIT TO LISTEN TO THIS ONE!!!

1

From near the end, where they started talking about Bernie Sanders, all the way to the end should be required listening in all public schools in the USA.

2

You got the description wrong. It should say "Gina Carano is an actress and former mixed martial artist who is sexy AF. Her new film, "Terror on the Prairie," is available now through www.dailywire.com"

The problem never went away, they posted a comment under a new name about how the original problem "died of covid, RIP", claimed to be the little sister of the orig. problem. The new name is the only comment under the ryan holiday ep atm. same kinda toxic shit.

They come SO fuckin close to a huge paradigm shifting understanding... There's no such thing as "good people" or "bad people" . All of us can be monsters or saints. As soon as we label ourselves, or anyone else as a "Good person" or a "bad person" we shortcut ourselves into not considering the whole person, and their trajectory over time. THIS IS THE ROOT OF A LOT OF THESE TRIBAL BULLSHIT ISSUES. Life aint a disney movie.

1

I couldn't get through it, Kaku has some gaping holes in his thought process wrt assumptions that combined w his tonal cadence (which sometimes comes off to me like a person who thinks they are talking to a mentally challenged 5 year old), I had to tap out. oh well, they all can't be great for everyone in the audience.

0

ooo, nice.... this one will be interesting for me. Kaku asserted on another appearance on JRE that psychedellics are bad and invariably destroy the brain. WILL Joe even bring it up? If yes, how will he do it? (cuz Joe is more interested in a helathy dialog than tribal bullshit) And lastly, but not leastly, how will Kaku handle the fact that his previous stance on psychdellics has been very clearly proven wrong, and that it was proven wrong by the pope3r use of the Scientific Method (as compared to the misuse and abuse of the Scientific method that is so common today)
