has anyone actually tried hunting because of the JRE? genuinely curious

related to the videos that kids watch these days, I really can't imagine what fucked up videos Redban watched as a child that made him the way he is (just kidding Redban)(but seriously)

Sure someone did. Not many though. Usually you either grew up with it, or you didn't. But then there will be those that don't enjoy the nanny state, and like to get their own meat and test it. Some may not have grown up with it, and so feel empowered doing it, going against the grain of things around them. Others still will have seen their parents do it and personally fell into feeling disgusted by it. Also there will be people that don't actually get how nature is, and hold an idealized image of what is going on – they will be averse to hunting for memetic reasons. It's just as you imagine, everybody has a story that led them to their understanding and preference.
