You know, David Goggins is one of those unique human beings who's done a phenomenal job of pushing his boundaries and creating a path for himself. Looking at all he's accomplished, you realize that he came to this conclusion: that nobody was going to come and save him. He talks about his past, and how he was this scared, insecure guy, who struggled a lot, even with his abusive father and stuttering, among other things. But what he did was truly extraordinary. He began to face his fears and insecurities head-on, built this stronger version of himself and decided to step out of that comfort zone. He holds himself accountable and does the hard work every single day. He was, and still is, his own savior. It's like, we can't expect someone else to come around and fix our lives, right? We've got to take charge and face our fears, our weaknesses, that's what Goggins did. He's a living testament to the power of the mind and the will to overcome obstacles.
