I don't know, you have those coaches that are like, okay guys, breathe. I don't want my coach to tell me to breathe in the corner. No? I'm like, I know how to breathe, bro. Tell me what I need to hear. Right. Well, does that drive you crazy when you hear corners that don't give good advice? Go, I'll finish them. Yeah. What does that mean? Thanks. Get up, man. Get up. I'm no shit. Go out there and kick his ass. That's why I was lucky to have guys that pay attention to detail like Mark Riccardo, man. Those guys are top notch. Technical. They're not giving you that. Sometimes you do. You need to... Sometimes some guys... I think Mark got some flack for the Marlin fight where he was in the corner. He was like, your mother raised you, blah, blah, blah, blah. Someone's like, why is he talking about his mom? It's like, because he knew he didn't need technique. He needed some motivation at that point. Was Marlin too big? Did he lose too much weight to get down to 35 and was he depleted or was it a so-hoo-do just steamrolled him? I just think the moment. I think Marlin hit him with some good shots and he hit him with some good shots. Some head kick, the right hand. I think the fact that so-hoo-do just took it and kept coming forward, I think kind of just demoralized Marlin a little bit. It wasn't put in the way. In my eyes, so-hoo-do was not going to be able to take much more of the legs. Yeah, no way. I thought that... For sure. When I first found out, I'm like, this fight's not going the distance. I thought Marlin was going to keep chopping at the legs, but Marlin let so-hoo-do close the distance. Once he let so-hoo-do close the distance and get a hold of him, started hitting him with knees, and I was like, oh, Jesus Christ. Even like, I mean, Marlin was in that tie clinch too. I'm like, dude, Marlin knows how to deal with a tie clinch. He just wasn't even reacting to it. He was letting him hit him with the knees, I felt like. Almost. I felt like he was just depleted. It seemed like he didn't have the energy to fight the kind of fight that so-hoo-do was willing to fight, especially so-hoo-do at 35. So-hoo-do at 25, he's draining himself a little bit, but so-hoo-do at 35 was much healthier. This fucking guy is just tough as shit, man. He has a winner's mind. Finds a way. He's got a winner's mind. The videos that he makes are pretty ridiculous. Super ridiculous. Triple C. Bend the knee. I guess that's, you know, everybody's got to have a shtick now, you know? I guess they do because it keeps them out there. It's weird because this sport is part of that, right? It's part promotion, but it's also performance. Things like Connor, the perfect blend. He's just beat him himself. But Connor's like, it's entertaining, it's funny. Some of these other guys, man, it's just so forced. It's rough. But look, Colby Covington. Colby Covington shit-talked his way to a goddamn title shot. He really did. I mean, yes or no. But he's also very good. Very good. You can't not be good and talk yourself into it. They wanted to cut him before he fought in Brazil. Do you know that? Yeah, I heard the story. He's going over there to fight Damian Maya and he just talked mad shit. He said, I'm going to cut them on board. He's like, yeah, that's what did it. I mean, that's literally what did it. And then that character just took off. You go and look at the early versions of that character. He had nice suits. Like he had a real crisp suit like Connor would wear. But then later he's got these terrible cheap suits. It's part of the fun of it. He's wearing bullshit suits and a maggot hat. He's playing through a character. Fuck, man. He fucking figured it out. Well, how about Connor? He's kind of made a little 180 type flip on his personality. He's still funny. He's still mouthy and stuff, but he's not being. He seems like he's trying to clean his image up a little bit. You think with cowboy? You think that's it? Maybe it was cowboy. Cowboy's kind of easy to get along with and whatnot. Or maybe it's just that he's been dealing with so much. With the kabib fight and all that stuff. The kabib and hitting the old guy and the shit that he's dealing with over there. He's got a proper 12. He's got a total line a little bit. Yes. You've got to think proper 12 is an enormous amount of money for him. He's making shit tons of money. I was in Vegas. Those billboards were everywhere. On cars and shit. He was sponsoring a Bellator cage too. Was he? Yeah. Good for him. Good for him. Yeah, I wonder. But I also think he felt like he needs psychological warfare with cowboy. I feel like he thought from the beginning that he had a giant advantage over cowboy. If you go back to an old press conference or talking back and shit to each other, he's like, as stiff as a board. Fucking break in half. I think he just felt like this fight, look, I could just be a nice guy with this guy. But with kabib, I think he felt like he had a fuck with him. I felt like he felt that he had to get kabib emotional the same way he got although emotional. But that shit didn't work. Didn't work. That motherfucker, he's a vault. You look in his eyes, you just see nothing but doom. Yeah, no. He's...
