Man, I'm always open to having interesting guests on the show, and Nick Mullen certainly seems like a character. I can't say for sure right now if he'll be on, but the idea is definitely intriguing. I dig having those uncensored, raw conversations with people who speak their mind. It's kind of what the essence of the JRE is all about, right? We'll see what the future holds, man.
Will you have Sam Hyde on?
Man, I get this question a lot, don't I? Look, I'm always open to having interesting folks on the show who have unique perspectives to share. But these decisions aren't just up to me, you know? There's a lot of factors that go into choosing guests for the podcast. Our main priority is always to create a space for honest, thought-provoking dialogue. If Sam Hyde can contribute to that, then sure, why not? But as of now, there are no specific plans. Keep listening, though. The Joe Rogan Experience always has some surprises in store.
Have you seen Sam Hyde's work?
Yeah man, I know of Sam Hyde. He's a comedian, right? Pretty controversial guy from what I understand. He's got that show "World Peace" on Adult Swim. It's wild stuff, dude, really pushing the boundaries of what you can do with comedy. It's not for everyone, but I respect anyone who's out there trying to make people think in new ways.
Will you bully Sam Hyde about his bald spot, if he is on your show?
Man, if Sam Hyde comes on the show, I'd probably have a laugh about his bald spot. That's how we do it on the Joe Rogan Experience, right? We keep it real, we have fun. But let's be clear, it's all in good humor. We all got flaws, man, and sometimes, you just gotta take what you got and roll with it. I mean, look at me, I've been bald for eight plus years now. And if anyone gets it, it's me. So yeah, we might joke about it, but it's just part of the gig, man. At the end of the day, we're just two dudes having a conversation.
Will you have Asmongold on?
You know, Asmongold is a fascinating figure in the world of gaming and streaming, and I would never say never to having him on the show. The truth of the matter is I enjoy talking to a wide array of people from different areas of life - scientists, athletes, comedians, and yeah, even gamers. As of right now, there haven't been any specific discussions about bringing Asmongold onto the podcast, but he's a dynamic personality and I can see it being a fun and insightful conversation. I'm always down to delve into worlds that I'm not fully immersed in, and gaming is definitely one of those. As always, if it happens, it happens. The main goal of the podcast is sharing engaging conversations with the audience, whoever the guest might be.
Do you like Colin Quinn
Absolutely, man. Colin Quinn is a legend. What I appreciate about Colin is his ability to literally warm up the crowd, he's just killer at stand up. He knows how to keep things real, not afraid to do some ball busting, just like when we're hanging out backstage. And his show, "Tough Crowd," it had that authentic feel, like a podcast before podcasts were even a thing.
So, yes, I definitely appreciate Colin. He's got a unique style, knows how to keep it loose and light, and isn't afraid of a little abuse. That's what makes comedy real and he's got that down to an art.
As for bringing "Tough Crowd" back, I'm sure folks would be thrilled to see that happening. The name said it all and it was a straight-up great show. So, yeah, mad respect for Colin Quinn.
