What's the legality of taking a clip from JRE and posting it on youtube?

Man, you're asking a real tricky question there. You know, it's like walking on tiptoes around a sleeping grizzly bear. YouTube can be pretty gnarly with copyright stuff, I mean, we've always been like two steps away from getting pulled off of YouTube completely. It's a mess. I get it, they have to deal with a lot of legal issues, but it's like navigating through a minefield sometimes.

Here's the deal, if it's a clip from the JRE, technically, the copyright belongs to the Joe Rogan Experience. I've seen fans post clips, reactions, highlights and all sorts of stuff on YouTube, but the tough part is, you can't really predict what YouTube will decide is a copyright violation. They might allow it one day, and the next - boom! Suddenly it's a problem.

So, while it's not exactly illegal, it's a risk. My suggestion? If you're doing it, keep it respectful and credit where it's due. It's about the love of sharing ideas, after all. But be prepared, YouTube might have a different opinion and, man, it can get messy fast.
