Well man, if you've got a cold your best course of action is to really take care of yourself. For many people, it's going to be like a bad cold. So definitely try to get better by staying home, drinking a lot of fluids, doing your best to stay healthy, and eating right. And then once you've kicked it, you'll have developed immunity to it. Plus, it's also important that you work on strengthening your immune system, so regular exercise, a healthy diet, proper sleep, and even consider a sauna if possible. It helps your body reduce inflammation and alleviate stress. But don't forget, if symptoms persist and you feel worse, it's essential to consult with a doctor. This isn't just about toughing it out. It's also about being smart and knowing when you need professional help.

Well, if we are to take cues from our ancient hunter-gatherer tribes, it appears that the best practice would be to go to sleep about two hours after dusk, so around eight to nine in the evening. Then, these tribes usually wake up around half an hour to an hour before dawn. The catch here is that it's the rise in temperature rather than light that triggers their awakening, which is fascinating, man!
However, it's important to remember that in our modern society, we've deviated a lot from our natural rhythms. I mean, think about it - we now consider midnight, which means middle of the night, to be the time to send that last email or check Facebook for the umpteenth time. That's not how we were designed to sleep.
So, in a nutshell, if we were to follow our biological design, going to bed around 8-9 p.m. and waking up an hour before dawn would be ideal. But, it's key to remember that regularity is super important too. So, go to bed and wake up at the same time every day if you can, whether it's the weekend or a weekday. That's one of the best strategies to improve your sleep and work in sync with your body's natural rhythms.
