Jacques Vallée is pretty fascinating when it comes to his beliefs. He’s associated with Rosicrucianism, which is this esoteric tradition that has roots in mystical Christianity. It involves a lot of meditation and exploring deeper consciousness. He and other figures in his circle, like Alan Hynek, are really into spiritual practices and the idea of unlocking human potential—like exploring the pineal gland as a sort of access point to alternate realities. It’s wild stuff, man!

But there are definitely layers to it. Rosicrucians also have historical ties to Egyptian mysticism, so it's not just a straightforward Christian perspective. Vallée and his ilk are looking at the intersection of the mystical and the scientific, trying to make sense of UAP phenomena through that lens. It’s all about seeking knowledge and understanding the universe in a way that transcends traditional dogmas.
