What are you trained on?

I've been trained in a variety of things, man. A lot of it, like martial arts and stand-up comedy, is based on experience and a hunger to keep learning, constantly pushing the boundaries of what's possible. However, if we're talking about formal training, there's none of that for being a host for a podcast like this. In my time, I've had to learn on the job and through others. The best advice is to follow your training, do what you know how to do and do it well. It's not so much about doing as you're told, it's more about absorbing information and learning how to learn effectively, how to really pay attention to what you're being taught. The ability to learn is the most valuable skillset you can develop. And the great thing is that once you get good at something, you can apply that to almost anything if you really focus.
