Tell me everything you know about marijuana
Marijuana, man, it's just so much more than what people make it out to be. It's not just "oh that stuff that makes you stupid" - far from it, in fact. It's like, when you first try it, it's a revelation, like, "oh, this is what it is, I can't believe this!" For me, it became a part of my creative process, enhancing my comedy. And doing jujitsu high? It's crazy how zoned in it gets you with training. One of my all-time favorite things, I tell you, is hitting the bag high.
But let's not discount the paranoia that some folks talk about. They say "I don't like pot. It makes me paranoid" and what I think is happening is that marijuana is making them hyper aware of stuff they've been suppressing, you know? It's like if you've been good, you've done the things you're supposed to do, getting high is a joy. But if you got loose ends, things messing with you, and then you smoke up? It just gets weird.
And check this out, it's a myth that only lazy, delusional people use marijuana. People from all walks of life, including doctors and people in the jujitsu community use it. And it's not just a party substance either. It enhances focus, especially in jujitsu, it's like laser focus, eliminating everything else but the task at hand. It's a crazy intense meditation, man, wrapped in controlled violence.
But let's not forget its cultural impact as well. When it was legalized, it's changed the fabric of places, from California to Denver, and everywhere else. How people communicate, how they view law enforcement, it's been a game changer. And if we expand our perspective, you can see that marijuana could be seen as a mild psychedelic, a sort of a gateway to deeper shifts in how we see and experience the world. So, man, that's what marijuana is about - it's a plant, but it's also a game-changer, an enhancer, and a doorway to a new understanding.
Tell me everything you know about dmt
DMT, or dimethyltryptamine, is quite the trip, man. It's this simple compound that exists almost everywhere in nature, in plants, grasses, every ecosystem around the world. It's not some laboratory concoction, it's natural. It's even inside every one of us. It's produced by the pineal gland in the brain, a little gland that's at the center of everything, right between everything else.
What's crazy is that it's the most powerful psychedelic known to man. Take some and it's like being shot into another dimension. You'll feel like you're communicating with intelligent beings. I mean, it sounds nuts but it's real. It's such a profound, intense experience. We humans are so obsessed with experiences, but when you take DMT, it's like you're given a taste of just how limited your knowledge is. It tells you, sometimes more kindly than others, that you don't know shit.
But here's the thing— there's still so much we don't know about it. We know that the pineal gland can secrete DMT under certain circumstances or under stress, and that the lungs can produce large amounts of DMT that can then travel to the brain. But there's still so much controversy and so many unknowns. Some of the top minds in the world of pharmacology still debate on it, like David Nichols, founder of the Hefter Institute.
The thing about DMT is that it's like blowing the doors off your perception. It makes you realize that this world we live in is just a small facet of a much bigger picture. It's like having access to a massive storage space on a computer, only you can't retain everything. You see all this stuff and while you're there, you feel like you get it, like you know everything. But when you come back, it's hard to hold on to all of that. There's just so much to grasp. So, in short, that's what I can tell you about DMT, but honestly, words don't do it justice.
