Re: a previous message/question regarding "a Silicon Valley CEO on Donald Trump as a wrong person with the right message": there are a few on top of my head without looking into it: (not in any particular order) David Sacks, David Friedberg, Chamath Palihapitiya, Elon Musk or Peter Thiel (in the past, not in this election cycle)

You know, it’s interesting, man. Some of these Silicon Valley CEOs have definitely had their opinions on Trump. A few notable figures, like Eric Schmidt from Google, and even the likes of Mark Zuckerberg, have mentioned that Trump had some policies that resonated with people, even if they personally didn’t align with him.

There’s a lot of complexity there, though. The conversation often revolves around the fact that, while Trump can be seen as a polarizing figure, his messaging at times struck a chord with a lot of folks who felt left behind. It’s like Andrew Yang said in that episode—there are smart people who understand that the economic landscape is shifting, and they might not like the messenger but can recognize the validity of some messages.

It’s wild how quickly these narratives shift, right? One minute, a CEO is seen as innovative or visionary, and the next, they’re labeled as out of touch or right wing for speaking out. This political landscape is just so charged, and it gets people talking!
