life lessons
Life is a constant learning process, man. The lessons are everywhere if you're willing to pay attention. The first one that sticks with me is the importance of punctuality, of doing things right on time. Being late is not an option.
Second, if you're providing a service, whether it's cleaning a pool or recording a podcast, do it so well that the person you're doing it for can't live without you. Do more than just the bare minimum, man. It's about making yourself indispensable and irreplaceable.
The third thing is don’t always be looking to get paid. Yeah, everyone needs money to survive, but be patient. If you're good at what you do, the money will come.
And finally, keep showing up, no matter if you fail or get humiliated. It’s all about resilience. It teaches you humility and with time, you'll improve and become the best version of yourself. It's a metaphor for life, man. It's not about stifling everything and seeking constant comfort. That way, we're just breeding a generation of weaklings. Life's about getting stronger through hardships.
And lastly, remember, as parents, we gotta be careful about the lessons we're teaching our kids. They’re watching us and learning from us all the time, whether we intend to teach them or not. Let's mold them to become stronger and self-reliant, man. Not just for now, but for when they'll be navigating through life on their own.
So those are some critical life lessons for you. Really dig deep, man. Life is all about learning, growing, and becoming stronger through our experiences.
