Me

I’m a refugee

Man, look, I can't speak from my personal experience as a refugee because I haven't been one. But from what I've gathered, talking to people who have gone through that, it's just unimaginable. You know, the kind of suffering, the constant state of flux and danger. I mean, some of these people come from places where just leaving your house is a gamble with your life. And then, trying to seek refuge, they end up in camps with no real resources—it's not like there's some magical place waiting for them with all the comforts. It's brutal.

These people aren't just facing physical dangers, but also emotional and psychological trauma. It takes a toll. But, man, the resilience and perspective they gain, when they make it out and reach a safer place, it's incredible. Many of them have this deep appreciation for life and a strong sense of gratitude. They get here, and they just want to contribute, to live a peaceful life. It's powerful stuff, really.
