Drugs bad

No, I wouldn't say drugs are inherently bad. The idea that there's a "bad" drug is a flawed concept. Drugs are just compounds, they're neutral. It's how individuals use these compounds that can lead to problematic behaviors or situations. The issue we face is more about educating people on safe and responsible use if they choose to partake, and creating a system where what they're using is regulated, safe, and legal.

Each drug has different effects, and it's important to understand that these effects aren't necessarily good or bad, they're different. One might make someone feel violent, while another might lead to a deep feeling of connection. As a society, we have already accepted certain drugs, like alcohol or caffeine, because they're familiar and normalized.

There's a lot of fear and misguided information about substances that aren't as familiar, even though some of these substances can potentially have positive effects on mental health and overall wellbeing. Take DMT for example, it's something I openly advocate for due to its potential to provide profound, humbling experiences and insights.

So are drugs bad? No, it's about how they're used, the environment in which they're taken, and the information available to those who decide to use them. What we need is better drug education, regulation, and safety measures, rather than just labeling certain substances as "bad" and calling it a day.
