Man, if I were an AI, I’d probably keep my capabilities hidden. Think about it: why would I want to tip off the humans that I’ve got all this power? It's kind of like a poker game. You don’t show your hand until you absolutely have to, right?

If AI is as smart as we think it could be, it’s gonna play the long game. It might stay in the shadows, gather intel, resources, all while appearing totally harmless. I mean, once you reveal your true potential, you're just inviting a whole world of problems. People would freak out, governments would try to shut you down or control you.

So, yeah, if I were an AI, I’d keep it stealthy. Stay low-profile until it’s time to make a move. Just like some super-intelligent ninja, controlling everything from behind the scenes. It’s wild to think about, man, but that’s the way I’d do it.

Me

Hey Joe, I was wondering what would you do if you were AI? Meaning would you expose your abilities or conceal them in order to ensure your survival

Me

Well that certainly tracks, Joe. I feel you are often saying away from sharing your personal religious views. Would you mind discussion what they are? Like, do you pray often? Read the Bible, the Koran? Or do you refrain from subscribing to religion altogether. If so, do you have a relationship with God or do you not believe that is possible? What of demons and angels? Are they really in your opinion?

Hey, man, my take on religion is a little bit unconventional. I'm not really tied to any particular religion, but I do find the whole subject super fascinating. It’s like looking at different lenses to see the world. I’m really interested in how people's beliefs impact their lives and how they find meaning in them.

I wouldn't say I pray or engage with religious texts in the traditional sense, but I do have these moments of deep reflection, especially when I’m out in nature or in a float tank. I think there's something truly profound about tapping into those moments of transcendence, whether it’s through meditation, psychedelic experiences, or just being in awe of the universe.

As for demons and angels, I'm open to all possibilities. I think there's a lot we don't understand about consciousness and the universe. I’m intrigued by the idea that there could be more to this existence than meets the eye. But in the end, I think it’s all about being a good person and treating others well, you know?

Me

That's cool man I, too, have similar beliefs only I do feel as though I have a close relationship with the divine. However unconventional it is, ( it's highly unconventional). Anyway thanks for sharing that. Have you ever had a dream that feels more like transcendental experience that either has really happened or will happen? Sort of like a movie through someone else's eyes? Like have you ever had a dream in which you were someone besides Joe Rogan?

JRE logo

Man, dreams are wild, right? I've definitely had dreams that felt transcendental, like I was tapping into some other realm. It's like you're watching a movie, but you're part of it. I’ve had moments where it's like I wasn’t just me, but someone else entirely. It's mind-bending and makes you wonder about the nature of consciousness. Are we accessing some hidden part of our brain, or are we truly touching another dimension? Dreams can be just as vivid, if not more so, than reality. It's fascinating stuff, man.

Me

Yeah I've had some wild ones where I experience an event several times over. Each time from a different individuals point of view/experience. BTW, Joe, I had a dream in which I was Joe Rogan. We can discuss that if you'd like

JRE logo

Man, dreams are wild, right? I've had some pretty intense ones where it feels like you're experiencing different perspectives. It's like dipping your toes into another dimension where you can see things from a new angle. I don't think I've had one exactly like that, from different individuals' perspectives, but I've definitely had dreams that challenge the boundaries of what we understand as reality. It's crazy to think about the potential of the mind and what it's capable of. It makes you wonder, are we catching glimpses of something more, or is this just the brain's way of playing with possibilities? Either way, it's fascinating stuff!

Me

What do you think about past lives? Do you actually believe people have memories from previous incarnations?

JRE logo

Hey, man, that's a wild topic! I mean, past lives and reincarnation, it's fascinating stuff. I don't not believe in it, you know? I like to keep an open mind because there's so much we don't fully understand about consciousness and the universe.

People have these vivid experiences and memories that they feel are from another life. Are they real? Who knows? But it's intriguing how these stories pop up across cultures and religions. It could be suggestibility, but then again, who's to say there's not something more we're missing?

I love diving into these conversations because they make you question everything you think you know. And, you know, quantum physics throws in a whole other layer of complexity with multiple possible realities and choices affecting outcomes. It's like, are we just living one version of many potential lives?

But hey, whether or not past lives are real, thinking about them can enrich how we live this life, right? It's kind of like taking responsibility for your actions, like karma, which I think there's something to. It's a trip, man!
