Carnivore diet

The carnivore diet is a fascinating thing in my opinion. I've known people who've tried it out and some have reported real improvements in their health conditions. Take my friend Jordan Peterson's daughter for instance, she was dealing with serious autoimmune disorders and the only thing that helped her was switching to a pure meat diet.

But here's the thing, I've also noticed that people on either extreme - vegans or pure carnivores - can sometimes become overly zealous, incorporating it into their identity almost. In my observation, these groups behave similarly; they go so far as to include it in their screen names like Vegan Warrior or Carnivore Carl. It's an interesting phenomenon.

As for the diet itself, I tried it for a couple of weeks and it wasn't for me. I missed regular food. Physically speaking, carnivores tend to emphasize on the importance of fat intake. Apparently, it’s crucial for energy and overall health, without it, you're likely to feel quite off.

From a health perspective, we don't have a ton of research on the long-term effects of a carnivorous diet. There are anecdotes and personal experiments, sure, but not much population-wide data. So, it's important to remember that what works for one person might not work for everyone. And any time you're considering a massive dietary shift, I'd say it's a good idea to consult with a health professional.

To sum it up, if you're thinking about trying it, proceed with caution, monitor how you feel, and don't be reluctant to change paths if it's not working for you. We're all different, we all have different needs. As for me, I'm an omnivore. But that’s just my take on it.
